Lets now move on to something easier (relatively speaking!).
The double - popping technique is an effective one both to learn and to integrate into a groove, giving your playing more dimensionality with regard to sound. It is usually played over two adjacent strings, with the chord pattern usually being "root - fifth" (I'll explain that in a moment). I like to combine the execution of this technique with some hammering and open string play (refer to the video and tab/notation by downloading the lesson package at the bottom of the page).

In this demonstration, I play a double-popped G-Chord, consisting of a root G and its fifth, a D. The double - pop is executed using the index and middle finger and pulling both strings at once. The excerpt shows that the double - pop is the first notes played. Overall, I play D-String 5th Fret plus G-String 7th Fret (making a G-Chord) both strings popped at once. Then, Slapped D-String 5th fret, hammered A-String 7th fret, slapped A-String 7th fret, Open E -mute, Open E - mute.
The double - pop can be played stand-alone as well, that is without any fancy fills either preceding or following it. Practice this technique on all strings using any 2-note major 5th chord you like. You will get some interesting and very effective sounds!
